There may be no better time for trying new scavenger hunt ideas than New Year's Eve or New Year's Day. If you are planning to have friends and/or family over to ring in the new year put together some basic ideas for people to find. Suppose that you have two teams of four or five each. Have each team choose a leader then give that person a list of items to find in the house. Choose categories for items, such as things that are blue or things that begin with a certain letter of the alphabet. You don't even have to go outside to enjoy an hour or two of this great pastime.
